Building Environmental Leaders
Dr Tameer was delighted to present a wildlife conservation seminar to the delegates
In the presence of the Chairman of the Duhok Provincial Council, the Director of Forests, the media, environmental activists and civil society organizations, the Building Environmental Leaders conference was held today by 3P Duhok.
The conference was held in collaboration with KOARP, the Environment Department, the Forest Department and the Alind NGO, with 8 panels by environmental specialists.
Dr Tameer presented a seminar on biodiversity and the many obstacles that affect the development and improvement of wildlife in Kurdistan.
Very little is known about the state of biodiversity in Kurdistan, and KOARP have been actively undertaking studies and surveys to get an understanding of our native animals, natural habitats and how best to protect our endangered species.
